Improvisation for Leadership with Andrew McMasters

Andrew McMasters, an exciting and well-respected facilitator and skilled actor is coming to ATDps! Andrew will be leading you through one of his famous Improv for Learning workshops, this time focused on leadership and change management practices. In this highly interactive and collaborative workshop, you'll use improvisational techniques to practice specific leadership skills. You'll learn what works for you and develop an understanding of your unique leadership style. The improvisational work gives you the physical experience of trying each skill and the ability to replicate that in your daily practice. It is a safe place to experiment and create relationships and applications to your own work.

You will practice interpersonal communications, committing to action, ensuring follow through, as well as understanding how to build an inclusive culture - all skills you can take back and apply directly to your own leadership programs. The session is aimed at those who are experiencing change in their organization, those who want to be a catalyst for change, and those who want to use change to help organizations evolve.

There is free street parking and ample paid parking at an adjacent lot, as well as bus-line access from downtown. It's only 1 min from the I5 exit. The space will be private for our members and there is both indoor and outdoor space.

Andrew McMasters is an actor, director and entrepreneur with over 30 years of experience in the arts. He is a founder of Jet City Improv, a non-profit theater that he managed for 25 years, and worked for multiple Fortune 500 companies to provide presentation support and messaging as well as team building and communications trainings. Andrew is dedicated to experiential learning, providing opportunities for self-discovery and driving innovation in our everyday lives.
